Misrepresented! Man oh man have I heard this from time to time. You say things but people will always take it the wrong way. People are not the smartest of the bunch. They hear one thing and then it spreads like wild fire. The black kid just wanted to be a policeman when he grew up so he can protect the people he loved. But since the media wanted to curve the story in a other way they cut off the other section were the poor kid said he wanted a gun to be a policeman. Violence is everywhere but it’s not born with in us. We are taught to hate and use violence. Everybody is born with a clean slate or without sin but it’s this cruel world that makes us change and become a bad person or tell a story about a kid how wants to use a gun. But that’s not the case here the case it that the kid still has good left in him and wants to be something, to me that’s the real story. In America the news is slanted and makes people afraid to step out at night. They reframe the words to make it something that isn’t. I hate stupid people. With a passion. a passion that can light 1,000 suns and light 1,000 moons. why caqnt people just be straight up with the person and way cant we just all get along and be NORMAL for a change be your self and be comfortable in the skin that GOD put you in.
Totally understand where you are coming from. The real story did not lie with the lie, but with the how a small child wants to become a police officer. Its depressing to see that the U.S reframes alot of things to create fear in Americans. Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with everything you have to say!!! I believe people are made bad, not born bad. America is corrupt and negative people don't make it any better.
ReplyDeleteNobody likes to be misrepresented, but why is it so easy for people to label each other and assume things about a community of people? Is it because people still fear one another's differences?
